(Caracas, January 29, 2011) Given the strength of the charge brought by the Public Ministry (MP), was sentenced to 15 years in prison the developer of radio station CNB - 102.3 FM, Francisco Antonio Contreras, for the kidnapping of journalist Globovisión, Luis Gerardo Nuñez, April 19, 2010, outside the City Mall Tamanaco (CCCT), located in the municipality of Chacao, Miranda state.

On April 19, 2010, Nunez and Contreras were abducted about 11:00 pm, just off the Mall City Tamanaco, by two men who wore uniforms of the Metropolitan Police.
