Three years after the first closing of Radio Caracas Television, the organization A World Without Gag in the context of its "Comment is not a crime" a national survey conducted in major cities to know how they feel about the Venezuelan national television after years of absence of RCTV. Referring to the opinion on the withdrawal of the free signal to RCTV, 82% of the population expressed its disagreement with this measure. Rodrigo Diamanti, a spokesman for the organization, noted that they agree with the return of the airwaves to that channel almost 90% of the population, and that even in states, like Vargas, Barinas and Aragua, whose tendency is official, the population agreed with the return of RCTV.
Questions regarding the issue of telenovelas showed that 83% feel that after the production closed down and deteriorated Venezuelan telenovelas. When asked if they feel that after closing the country's problems were resolved, 81% said no.
